8 x switchable analog inputs

The iD48 uses Dsub connections and has eight fully balanced inserts that allow you to integrate your favorite outboard FX before conversion - giving you the cleanest possible signal path. Perfect for stem mixing and print-backs.

And for the first time ever, iD48's Switchable insert routing lets you choose which source feeds the ADC. This means you can choose whether to send the signal from the Audient Mic Preamp or the DAW outputs to your outboard on a per-channel basis, without having to plug or unplug cables.

The iD48 is not only a powerful USB-C sound card, but also offers everything you need to get professional listening control in your studio.

Speaker Outputs
Connect, listen and reference your mixes via the Main and Alt speaker outputs. Alternatively, use the additional line outputs to send audio to an external headphone amplifier for monitoring by your artists/musicians.

Headphone Outputs
Mix confidently on headphones with two fully independent, top-quality stereo headphone amplifiers. The headphone amplifiers have 124 dB of dynamic range and enough power to drive headphones up to 600 ohms.

Configurable Monitor Control
With configurable function buttons, you can assign any of the iD48's powerful listening functions, such as Speaker Select, Dim, or Mono Sum, to the two dedicated hardware function buttons.

Talkback
Take advantage of the iD48's innovative talkback technology, allowing you to use a USB microphone or your computer's built-in microphone as a dedicated talkback microphone, freeing up valuable microphone preamps for recording.
