Doug Aldrich signature 100w guitar amp top - Blackstar HT Venue DA-100
Doug Aldrich is one of the world's most respected guitarists, with an impressive career in legendary bands such as Whitesnake, Dio, Burning Rain, Lion, Hurricane, House of Lords, Bad Moon Rising and Revolution Saints.
Despite his experience and several signature products, Doug has never before launched his own signature amplifier until now. Blackstar is proud to be a part of this milestone in his career and welcomes him to the family.
Since February 2023, Doug has been touring with Blackstar's HT Stage 100 MK III tube amplifier, paired with a modified HTV-412B MK III speaker. Doug loved the amplifier, which could deliver everything from “silky smooth clean tones to the most powerful sound he'd ever heard.” But he also asked Blackstar for a few key tweaks to create his dream amplifierThe result is the DA100 RUBY, an amplifier that combines Doug's signature tones with unique features. A new OD Voice was developed, giving a vintage, hot-rod Plexi sound with extra punch, and the midrange was also tweaked to create a rich, powerful feel when playing chords.
The effects loop was upgraded to be footswitchable via the included 5-way footswitch and can be customized with Blackstar's free Architect software, allowing reverb parameters to be adjusted and settings to be saved directly in the amp.
The amp is covered in a striking red finish - a tribute to Doug's daughter, Ruby. The design is complemented by color-matched knobs and an elegant brushed aluminum panel.

Built-in CabRig technology reproduces the sound and feel of a mic'd speaker with amazing detail. Three specially developed patches - Doug's Ruby Reds, Doug's Classic Cabs and Doug's L.A. Studio - are included to recreate Doug's signature sound both live and in the studio.
USB audio for professional recording and XLR D.I. for live use, both with CabRig for maximum audio flexibility.
The striking red finish and color-matched knobs give the amp a timeless yet unique look.
