The RG565 is one of the most sought-after collector's models in the Ibanez RG catalog.
A brutal shred machine both in terms of play and appearance.

Spot model means that the instrument is in a limited edition that will only be available for a short period.
The RG565, a hot collector's item in Ibanez circles, is coming back in a limited edition. A classic from the late 80s that is resurrected in the Genesis Collection series. The entire Genesis Collection series is made in Japan.

The body is made of Basswood (Lind) which is a fairly light wood with an even frequency response across the entire register. This makes it a wood that is sonically easy to color in many different directions and get many different kinds of sounds out of.
The even frequency response also makes it very suitable for distorted sounds, it glues the sound together nicely without it becoming either scattered or unclear.

The guitar is equipped with a 5-piece maple and walnut neck, with Ibanez Super Wizard neck profile.
- The neck for shredders. 17mm thick at the first fret and 19mm at the 12th fret, with flat fingerboard (430mm Radius).
The bridge is the Ibanez Edge tremolo, a classic that has been rated as the best, according to guitarists, for more than 35 years.
Topped with this, sits Ibanez classic V8 pickup in bridge position and an Infinity R humbucker (single format) in neck position.
