The CE24 model was introduced by PRS in 1988 and has since become one of the cornerstones of PRS' wide range. The SE CE 24 Standard Satin has an all-mahogany body and a maple neck with a screwed neck attachment. The thin lacquer used to varnish the instrument allows the CE 24 Standard Satin to reach its full tonal potential. The PRS 85/15 ‘S’ microphones have a clear balanced tone with a distinct high register and a lower register with a little extra punch. To split the humbucker mics into single-coil, use the tone control's Push/Pull function. This workhorse offers tone, looks and playability that will suit both the beginner and the long-time player at a great price.
