AS73 is a rock/blues/fusion/rockabilly guitar made of traditional wood with a thinner 335-piece body with a continuous center stock. A visually discreet guitar that suits almost any style you play.
The pickups are Ibanez Classic Elite, a dynamic pickup that is well suited to all kinds of sounds up to a moderate overdriven level. The entire construction, body and pickups, make the guitar feel best on clean to semi-distorted sounds.
But also works up to more distorted levels without getting feedback. You can easily get a standard round jazz lead sound without it becoming fuzzy and unfocused or a warm accompaniment sound without losing tonal separation.
The pickups have a ceramic magnet. The pickups are connected to a 3-position toggle switch and have separate volume and tone for each pickup.
