SR is probably the bass model most people think of when someone says ?Ibanez bass? and for about 35 years it has been the market leading model among ?small body? basses (basses with smaller, slimmer, bodies). They are lightweight, easy-to-play basses that are extremely comfortable to wear and play, perfect for people who play a lot or for long sessions.
SRs are available in designs from cheap entry-level basses to absolute top-of-the-line basses and everything in between, so whatever price range you want to be in, there's an SR bass for you. They are also available in several different woods and pickup configurations.

SR300B is the SR in the Ibanez standard series.
The standard series are the Ibanez ‘regular? models, instruments that are a little cheaper without compromising too much on quality compared to the top models. Instruments for those who want everything Ibanez stands for, playability, reliability, sound, look and feel, but have a slightly thinner wallet.
Instruments that, despite their low price, could easily accompany you as a main instrument on a tour without hassle, basses and guitars that work at whatever level you play.

The SR Standard basses have been updated with new PDC (PowerSpan Dual Coil) microphones and a new EQ system.
It consists of a boost/cut for bass, treble and midrange and a 3-way Tap switch for switching between Humbucker-Single-Enhanced Single.
