Electric guitar with acoustic tone!

The PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo is a sophisticated and very versatile instrument. The combination of humbucker pickups and a Piezo system makes it possible to get really nasty dist tones in one moment to deliver a pure acoustic tone like a steel string guitar in the next second. The Semi-Hollow body design not only adds air to the sound of the humbucker pickups, it also brings more life to the acoustic sound. The mahogany body is fitted with a maple top, which in turn is adorned with flamed maple veneer. The neck is made of maple and has a rosewood fingerboard.

The two PRS 85/15 ‘S’ humbucker microphones can be split via the tone control to give the instrument a clearer single coil character. The piezo system that provides the acoustic tone was developed by LR Baggs together with PRS and provides additional possibilities to use the SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Body Peizo to cover all the different needs you may have, especially live.

Two discrete volume controls adjust the volume of the humbucker microphones and the piezo system, which also has separate outputs if you want to send the signal from the humbucker microphones to an amplifier and the piezo signal to the PA. If you don't want to split the signal, you can also use one of the outputs for both signals and thus mix or blend the humbucker tone with the piezo electronics.
