The Shure A89LM-BA Double Lyre Boom Adapter Mount is essentially a boompole shockmount for the VP89 large shotgun microphone. The joint effort between Shure and Rycote features Rycote patented lyre suspension technology. The suspension system greatly suppresses handling and structure noise, while soft feel grips molded into the clip prevent the microphone from twisting or slipping.
