Each individual string is treated with D'Addario's protective microcoating, a super-thin finish that effectively repels dirt and sweat. XT strings last 4 times longer than traditional uncoated strings without affecting the tone and feel that D'Addario strings have become recognised for. Anchoring the ball, through so-called Fusion Twist technology, provides a string with unrivalled strength and which holds the tune significantly better than ordinary strings.
