The DDP-80 PRO is a no-nonsense electric piano that fits into most homes. It takes up almost no space, has a beautiful Nordic design, can pretty much do everything a regular acoustic piano can (and then some), and requires only one power outlet because it has a built-in amplifier and 2 speakers.
It has 88 weighted keys that are well suited for all types of pianists. Whether you're just starting out and want to learn how to play with real weighted keys or you're an experienced pianist who wants a keyboard like an acoustic piano.
The DDP-80 PRO also has built-in Bluetooth and MIDI, which opens up many possibilities in terms of online teaching, recording, new sounds and much more.
DDP-80 PRO with practical functions
Unlike an acoustic piano, you can adjust the volume of the piano up and down, and if you want to play in peace or not disturb others, you can plug in headphones so that the DDP-80 PRO is completely silent to everyone but you.
The DDP-80 PRO is also MIDI-compatible and has a USB output, so you can, for example, use it for self-study, composing or teaching through online courses or apps.
You can also connect it to music editing software on a computer and use it for fine recordings, or you can use it as a MIDI keyboard to play all the myriad sounds usually found in a DAW system.
Finally, you can use the Bluetooth function to play music from a portable device (mobile phone, tablet, computer) directly through the built-in speakers of the DDP-80 PRO - either just for listening or as a background to your own piano playing.
The keyboard
The DDP-80 PRO features a fully weighted hammer-action keyboard with 88 keys, which simulates the acoustic piano very accurately and responds precisely to the force you play with. It is thus a really good digital piano to replace an acoustic piano or grand piano - whether you are a beginner or experienced, and whether for home entertainment or for teaching or learning.
Advanced sound module and built-in speakers
The sound module in the DDP-80 PRO is built around the highly acclaimed DREAM sound circuit, so you can expect piano sounds of the highest quality. There's also a whopping 128 notes of polyphony, so no matter how complicated the music you play, or how much you use the included pedals, you'll never run out of opportunities to give your piano playing a huge dynamic range. From very subtle and muted to very powerful and dramatic, without having to adjust the volume.
All this beautiful sound is conveyed very well by the powerful, built-in amplifier system and the 2 stereo surround speakers of 25 watts each.
If you need to be able to play in a quiet environment, you have the option of connecting a pair of headphones to an output on the DDP-80 PRO, which is optimized specifically for headphones, so that you get the best possible experience.
