No longer limited by the technology of that era, this classic humbucker set adds a newly developed external preamp that provides the benefit of a low-impedance output resulting in virtually no hum or extra noise. The Alnico magnets deliver a fat, warm sound without losing any clarity in the high register. The preamp cleans up all the output noise but retains the passive character of your tone.
