The RedNet range of Interfaces have been designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of audio applications - from live sound to multi-cabin recording studios, places of worship, distributed audio installations, post-production environments and all applications in between. Fundamentally RedNet is a highly scalable audio distribution system that offers near-zero latency and can be used to expand the number of inputs and outputs of digital audio systems and/or serve as a bridge between Pro Tools|HD, the MADI protocol and the Dante Audio Network. Featuring the most advanced Focusrite AD/DA conversion to date, an ultra-stable JetPLL clock and high-end multilayer circuit boards, RedNet is no exception to the Focusrite philosophy: Sound is everything. Designed and manufactured with extreme attention to detail, RedNet interfaces are a step ahead of the competition, offering transparency and one of the best sound qualities to date - combining the revolutionary capabilities of networked audio systems.

**Swiss Army Knife.**

The RedNet R1 can be configured to control groups of outputs from the multitude of sources and destinations available on the Red interfaces. From Pro Tools ™ | HD and other DAWs, analog inputs and outputs, ADAT and S/PDIF connections and from complete Dante® audio ecosystems, audio can be switched and "summed" across multiple platforms simultaneously and interchangeably. The top panel settings are for Level, Reference Level preset selection, Dim, Mute and a variety of Solo modes. An A/B switch allows you to toggle between monitor presets and up to four presets for quick switching for submix check.

**Hello, control tower...**

RedNet R1 also includes a Dante-compatible talkback, an internal microphone preamp for connecting an external microphone (talkback), a built-in microphone and a headphone output, for monitoring audio inputs and outputs and interacting with artists and other network users. Up to four talkback destination groups are available - when used with a Red interface (when used with other Dante devices, only one talkback group is available).

**Flexibility and power.**

Two LCD displays provide highly accurate level measurement of outputs, sources, and headphone output, as well as visual cues for menu navigation. RedNet Control software is used to quickly set up simple, yet complex monitoring and routing configurations. In addition, a 6.35mm jack plug accepts a foot switch for talkback management, LFE mute and more. The RedNet R1 can be powered via Ethernet to reduce wiring complexity (using the PoE standard), or by the supplied power supply.
