SR is probably the bass model most people think of when someone says "Ibanez bass" and for around 35 years it has been the market leading model among "small body" basses (basses with smaller, slimmer bodies). They are light, easy-to-play basses that are extremely comfortable to wear and play, perfect for people who play a lot or long sessions.
SR is available in designs from cheap entry-level basses to absolute worst basses and everything in between, whatever price range you want to get into, there is an SR bass for you. They are also available in several different types of wood and pickup configurations.

SR400EQM is SR in Ibanez's standard series. This model has a body of Nyatoh (mahogany) with a beautiful quilted maple top, Jatoba fretboard and a powerful B300 Accu-cast bridge.
Instruments that, despite their low price, could easily accompany you as the main instrument on a tour without any hassle, basses and guitars that work no matter what level you play at.
The SR Standard basses have been updated with PDC (PowerSpan Dual Coil) microphones and a new EQ system.
It consists of a boost/cut for bass, treble and midrange as well as a 3-way Tap switch for switching between Humbucker-Single-Enhanced Single.
