This 5cm wide cotton strap for guitar and bass is a reliable and durable strap, carefully handmade at Levy's factory in Nova Scotia, Canada, by their experienced team of craftsmen. The materials are woven cotton with leather ends and 46 loops made of brass.
The MC8TWEY strap belongs to a series of straps called “Worn & Torn”, and is designed to look like they've already had a long and hard life on the road. The worn look and the many brass loops give these straps plenty of attitude.
The heavyweight woven cotton, combined with solid craftsmanship, ensures both long-lasting durability and outstanding strength, allowing you to keep your favorite guitar safely slung over your shoulder for years to come.
A common challenge with straps is that the holes in the strap stretch out every time they are pulled over the strap buttons, which greatly affects the life of the entire strap. That's why Levy's has added “Pin Hole” stitching around all the holes in the belt, as they counteract this annoying tendency. So here you have a strap that will last for many years, and looks like it has already lasted for many years!
A little about Levy's
Levy's is one of those family-owned businesses that the music industry has so many of, and which builds its business on proud traditions. Levy's was founded in 1973 when Dennis Levy was offered a set of leatherworking tools as payment for a job, instead of cash. Dennis Levy quickly developed a keen interest in working with leather, and shortly afterwards Levy's Leather Ltd was founded.
In addition to Dennis, his wife Cheryl, and their children Danica and DJ also work in the company today. Headquartered in Nova Scotia, deep in the Canadian forests, Levy's produces guitar straps, belts, watch straps and other leather products.
