Medium thin, medium weight with flat profile for instant and fast response. Creates a very musical and warm spread of the cymbal sound.
Perfect with playing with felt mallets for “swelling” crescendos. After years of development, Meinl presents a new series of cymbals for the classical symphonic market. Developed in collaboration with percussionists, these cymbals have the right dynamics, balanced tone and sophisticated sound spectrum of hand-hammered B20 cymbals.
Like the Byzance Jazz, the Symphonic Series has a diverse but cohesive sound character. Suspended has a medium-thin weight with a flat profile and has a good response with a clean but multifaceted sound that can be guided by the percussionist's intentions to swelling crescendos.
