With the Midiplus ED-8, you get a complete electric drum set, which in addition to containing 5 drums, 2 cymbals and hi-hat, also comes with a stand, bass drum pedal and hi-hat stand. You get a 10" snare drum with 2 sensors, so you can make edge hits, and you get three 8" snare drums, so in addition to the snare drum, you also have a right and left snare as well as a floor snare, just like on a standard acoustic drum set. In addition, you get a 9" kick drum pad with accompanying kick drum pedal.

The special thing about the ED-8 is that the three tambours and the snare drum are all equipped with mesh (net) skins - something that is unique in this price range. Mesh skin gives, compared to conventional drum pads, a more realistic playing sensation, so you get the experience of sitting in front of a "real" drum seat to a much greater degree.

The centerpiece of the ED-8 electric drum kit is Midiplus's Z-10 sound module. Z-10 contains over 200 different drum sounds, which are collected in 35 different drum sets, where the 10 drum sets are editable. To support practice and learning, the Z-10 is equipped with a metronome function, which has separate tempo and volume control, and there is a built-in recorder, so you can record your playing. An AUX input allows you to connect a smartphone, so you can play music through the Z-10 and mix the sound with your own drum kit. In addition, there are MIDI in and out and headphone output, so you can practice without disturbing family or neighbors.
