Hollowbody Design
With a full hollowbody construction, this stellar guitar emits an open and airy sound with superb top-end articulation. Mahogany is used to form the middle section of the body, while Maple is employed to construct the top and the back with a tasteful Figured Maple veneer applied on each side. This mixture of tonewoods gives the PRS Hollowbody II a balanced sound and serves as an excellent foundation for its pickups.

Playable Neck
Joining the body is a Mahogany neck adorned with a silky-smooth Ebony fingerboard, providing a luxurious feel under the fingers. Carved to PRS Guitars' 'Wide Fat' profile, the Hollowbody II's neck may feel quite substantial to modern players but it's designed to offer optimal support for complex jazz chords that require tricky stretches, or intricate arpeggios.
