Viva Chord is a velocity-sensitive arrangement keyboard with 61 full-size keys, stereo speaker system, USB/MIDI connection for computer/tablet, teaching system and a large selection of sounds and rhythms with accompaniment. In addition to being able to get power via the included power supply, the Viva Chord can also run on batteries (not included).
The sound section contains 300 sounds. Here you will find e.g. 6 piano sounds as well as a wide range of organ, strings, synthesizer and guitar/bass sounds, and in the rhythm section you will find a wide selection of rhythms with accompanying accompaniment in styles such as pop, rock, jazz, Latin, country, gospel and even dance and funk . Viva Chord's extensive selection of sounds and accompaniments allows you to play all your favorite songs yourself with a full orchestra and with a wide selection of different sounds. In addition to the many sounds and accompaniments, Viva Chord is also equipped with a percussion panel, where you can trigger different percussion sounds or even play whole drum rhythms yourself.
The built-in teaching system in Viva Chord is based on 40 built-in songs that you can use as a basis for learning to play the keyboard. You select a song in the library and start the song, after which Viva Chord's large LCD display shows you which key/note to play in the melody. The keyboard then creates an accompaniment of its own, which waits for you while you find the next note.
The option to connect the Viva Chord to a computer/tablet (via the USB-TO-HOST output) opens up the possibility for you to have access to lots of educational offers for learning and improving your skills on the keyboard. For example, Mussila offers piano/keyboard lessons for children, via smartphone/tablet (approx. DKK 60 per month), or you can use PianoMarvel.com with great success, which offers a very well-thought-out and well-planned teaching course in piano playing (30 days free, thereafter DKK 110 per month). The USB output also makes it possible to use the Viva Chord as a midi keyboard for a computer.
Viva Chord comes with a built-in and backlit LCD display and contains both transposition and voice functions. In addition, the Viva Chord is equipped with a built-in metronome and a split function, which makes it possible to split the keyboard into two equal parts, which is useful if 2 people have to play the keyboard at the same time. The dual function makes it possible to play 2 different sounds on the keyboard simultaneously - for example, you can have an electric bass sound in the bass, while you have a vibraphone on the rest of the keyboard.
If you want to sing, the microphone input on the back of the keyboard allows you to connect a microphone to the Viva Chord and use the keyboard's built-in speakers to amplify the microphone. The input can also be used to connect a smartphone to the Viva Chord, so you can play music through the keyboard's speakers.
If you want to practice or play without disturbing others, you can connect headphones so that only you hear the sound from the keyboard, and the built-in battery operation allows you to take the keyboard with you and play, even if there is no access for mains power.
